Questions

Common questions

Can't find your answer? The course finder will point you to the right course, or you can call us.

What's the difference between a novice course and an experienced worker test?

A novice course is full training for new operators, followed by the NPORS theory and practical tests. An experienced worker test is assessment only, for operators who can already show plenty of experience on the machine.

Do I need a CITB HS&E test?

For an NPORS card carrying the CSCS logo, yes: you need a CITB Health, Safety and Environment test passed within the last two years. Let us know if you need help booking one.

Can you train on our site?

Yes. We can deliver many courses on your site using your machines, as long as the site and equipment are suitable. We'll check the details with you before booking.

How do I book, and when do I pay?

Request a booking on any course page or through the course finder. We'll contact you to confirm the right option, dates and price before anything is booked.

Is funding available for apprenticeships?

Funding is available for eligible employers. Get in touch and we'll explain what's covered for your business and the apprentice.
