EUSR Utility Excavations, Categories 1 and 2
Locate underground utility services with CAT and Genny equipment (Category 1, HSG47) and dig safely around them (Category 2). Take both together, or either on its own.

CSCS card
EUSR is part of the CSCS Alliance, so your EUSR registration card is accepted for access to sites that ask for a CSCS card.

Practical and written assessment for each category.
Questions
How long will the course take?
The categories 1 and 2 combined takes 2 days. The category 1 only (locate utility services) takes 1 day. The category 2 only (safe digging) takes 1 day. We'll confirm timings when we arrange your booking.
Can you train on our site?
Yes, if your site is suitable for the training and assessments. We'll check the details with you before confirming.
Which option do I need?
Most people take both categories together over two days. Take Category 1 on its own if you only locate services, or Category 2 on its own if you already hold Category 1.
