CSCS card

NPORS card with the CSCS logo

NPORS is a CSCS partner scheme. Choose the NPORS card with the CSCS logo and it's accepted on CSCS sites. You need the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test (Operatives) passed in the last two years. New operators start on a red trained operator card. Completing the NVQ for the machine moves you to a blue competent operator card. On the card with the CSCS logo, this category shows as C210 rather than N210.

Questions

How long will the course take?

Novice training is up to 5 days, the maximum NPORS recommends. If you already have experience, the instructor can assess you and the course may be shorter.

Can you train on our site?

Yes. We can deliver this course on your site, using your machine, if the site and equipment are suitable. We'll check the details with you before confirming.

Which NPORS card will I get?

You choose when you book. The NPORS card with the CSCS logo shows this category as C210 and is the one most construction sites ask for. It needs a CITB Health, Safety and Environment test passed within the last two years. The traditional NPORS card shows it as N210 and suits other industries. Not sure? Tell us where you'll work and we'll advise.

What happens after I request a booking?

We'll contact you, usually within one working day, to confirm dates, the right course option and the price.
